GRANT GIBSON
Managing Director
Grant Gibson is an experienced corporate finance executive, financier and advisor having more than 25 years experience in merger & acquisitions, debt, equity and hybrid capital structuring and capital raisings as well as acting as principal investor managing multi-billion dollar credit related investment portfolios in Australia, Europe and North America.
Mr Gibson has held senior management roles setting up and running businesses for multinational financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, UBS, RBC Capital Markets, The Royal Bank of Scotland and BNP. Mr Gibson was also co-founder of Alegra Capital, a special situations and structured credit asset management firm based in Zurich and is the founder of H2 Capital Group, a corporate and investment advisory company based in Perth. Grant was also a co-founder and Managing Director of Australian Business Credit, a niche business finance company based in Australia. He is a co-founder of Global Carbon Exchange and Hybrid Freezer Systems, two companies focussing on renewable energy and decarbonisation.
Mr Gibson has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and Economics, holds a Graduate Certificate in Securities and Financial Derivatives. Mr Gibson has held public and private company directorships including Non-Executive Director of ASX listed GRP Corporation Limited, Keep It Easy Software Pty Ltd, Australian Business Credit Pty Ltd and Aurumin Limited.
CRAIG HERKES
Consultant Director
Craig Herkes has over 20 years experience in the financing of major property and infrastructure projects. Mr Herkes began his career as an accountant and lawyer before moving into corporate finance.
During the past 20 years, Mr Herkes has been involved in the financing and acquisition of several major projects, including the Sydney Olympic Stadium, the acquisition of Brisbane and Hobart Airports, the Perth Convention and Exhibiton Centre, the redevelopment of the historic Raffles site in Perth and the Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison PPP.
Most recently Mr Herkes was the Regional Commercial Manager for John Holland in Western Australia focusing on major construction projects including the New Children's Hospital in Perth, the Perth Citylink and bidding for the New Perth Stadium Project located in Burswood.
Mr Herkes holds Bachelor of Commerce and LLB degrees, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment and has been admitted to the Supreme Courts of WA and NSW and the High Court of Australia.
